“Let Go and Move Upwards” - Key Concept
By Kiara Lay | February 27, 2008
A series of “Let Go and Move Upwards” articles:
Article Two – The key concept of “Let Go and Move Upwards”
Remember when you are child and were asked to dip your hand in to a box filled with sweets? You only have one chance to put your hand into the box and take as much as you can hold within your hands. What did you do initially?
Most children tried to grap as many sweets as they can, only to find that they have to let go of some of the sweets so that their full fist can go back up the narrow entry hole.
This story concerns itself with the concepts of “Limits” and “Priority”. Most of us understand that our resources such as time are not infinite. Hence we are told and trained to give priority to things at hand that are most important or urgent. In order to do that we have to let go of the desire for other things that are of lower priority until we “have the time”.

Having Faith
By Kiara Lay | February 24, 2008
What does it mean by having faith? The following well wishing verse aptly describes what is “having faith”:
For Today and Everyday:
May today be peaceful for you
May you thrust that you are exactly where you are meant to be
May you be alert to the infinite possibilities that are born of faith
May you use those gifts what you have receive to edify and spread the love of God
May you find contentment and wonder in awe that you are a child of God
Let this presence of God and his love settle into your every fiber of being, your soul and heart.
Let the certainty of His love be your reason to celebrate
Your freedom to create, to conquer, to love,
to sing, dance and bask in the warmth of the sun.
The very basis of having faith is to trust.
Trust that your God is your companion, your guide, your champion in the minute to minute journey of your life.
Trust that with this basis, you can and will be able to do whatever you have set out to do.
Trust that the future is yours to create, and happiness is yours to obtain.
