    Eliminate your procrastination and act NOW!

    It is the start of a new year 2008 .

    This year has got off on quite a shaky note, with the recent slump in the stock market and also with many events happening in our YBTR team. For example, my dad has recently suffered a minor heart attack and is going for a bypass operation soon and the health condition of a cousin of my partner, Lois, has rapidly deteriorated due to cancer.

    So what can we look forward to in this new year?

    Problems are constantly with us, do we use them as excuses or reasons for not achieving the results we want? Are we waiting for someone to come along to solve our problems or are we actively taking actions for a better future?

    Let’s use my dad’s condition as an example. For years, it has been at the back of my head to get additional medical insurance and to ask my dad to go for a medical checkup due to his age. By the way, he is 64 years old this year. But, however, i been so ‘caught up’ and busy with life that i have been constantly pushing it off. Sounds familiar?

    Luckily his condition is addressed in the nick of time and he is scheduled to go for a bypass. For that, i really got to thank god and whatever higher being for that. Btw i am a free thinker ya. But come to think of it, what else could have happened?

    Humans are always thinking about doing something someday. But how often do we really do it anyway? Do we need to wait for disaster to strike before we do something? After the recent things that have happened, i sincerely hope that all of us will remember that there is no such day as someday and the things that we really want to do, we have to do it, regardless of whatever reasons or excuses that we have been giving ourselves.

    Life occurs at the present moment. Make the choice to do something that you really want but have been holding back, do not wait for something in life to happen to us then regret what we have not done. Wishing all a great year ahead! Remember the choice to act NOW is yours!
