A series of “Let Go and Move Upwards” articles: Article Seven – Key meditative statements exercise on “Letting go In Faith” Last week, l have shared with you the benefits of letting go in love, and how to reaffirm your choice to let go in love. This week, we shall focus on having faith and to let go in faith.
Going forward in our chosen actions with the faith and belief that everything will work out just fine, is extremely important. By having faith in their abilities and choices, many successful people like Bill Gates, Henry Ford, and Einstein were able to create the environment and outcome they wanted.
Having faith in God, made people strong to carry-on moving forward even though they may or may not believe in themselves. They simply believe that everything will work out fine with God’s blessings. Hence faith is a very important ingredient to successful letting go of the past and present and our effort of moving onwards towards success. Read the rest of this entry »

Journey towards self discovery Part 6 - Are you tired of Waiting?
By Lois Setoh | March 28, 2008
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven :
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,
A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance,
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain,
A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away,
A time to tear and a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak,
A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.

Continuing my sharing on my journey of self discovery, I learnt something very valuable. There is a time for everything and it consist of “Waiting”.

What you resist persist! Getting through to your child
By Mike Wang | March 24, 2008
Today i had a good demonstration of this statement: ” what you resist, persist!” I went for a seminar intro today and i heard a parent sharing things about the way she communicate with her child.
This parent was having so much problem with her child that the whole family was being affected by the way the child was behaving. The child was a cry baby that is always crying to get his way across and no one in the family was able to get him to stop that.
The parent has been trying ways like scolding, punishing and even resorting to bribing him with rewards to get him off this habit of crying to get his way. But none of the ways were successful. After thinking about how they were interacting with the child, they realised that they have been resisting the way the child was behaving. What does this mean?
